What Happens During an Annual Roof Safety Inspection?

1 July 2026

If your building has anchor points, static lines, or guardrail installed on the roof, Australian standards require those systems to be inspected every 12 months to remain compliant. Here's what that process actually involves.

Why annual inspections matter

An expired certification doesn't just create paperwork risk — it shifts liability onto the building owner or facility manager the moment a contractor steps onto that roof to service HVAC plant, clean gutters, or carry out repairs.

What we check

What you receive afterward

A detailed inspection report and a compliance certificate, plus a clear list of any defects that need rectifying before the system is signed off as compliant.

If your last inspection is coming up on 12 months, get in touch and we'll get a certifier out to your site.
